Remember VIVA Club Rotation

About the show:
VIVA, VIVA2, VIVA+ - many of us think of these legendary TV channels with nostalgia, but few know how the success story began...
VIVA TV was launched in Germany in 1992 and quickly became the dominant music channel of the 90s. Unlike MTV at the time, German artists were given a place on the channel alongside major international artists. In the 1990s, it gained unimaginable popularity, as it was also available on national cable networks and was free-to-air via satellite. The music and genres broadcast had a huge impact on Hungary and its artists and audiences at the time.
At that time, one of the most popular programmes on the channel was Club Rotation, which uniquely featured a different club every week, showcasing the hot spots and party atmosphere of the German and later Hungarian club scene. In addition to exclusive DJ sets, spontaneous interviews with partygoers made the show really unique and colourful.
In Remember VIVA Club Rotation we try to bring back the atmosphere of these shows and present iconic club music from the second half of the 90s and the first half of the 2000s.
